This multi-stakeholder group brought together more than 40 cancer patient advocacy organizations—representing both solid tumors and blood cancers—along with professional societies, diagnostics companies, testing laboratories, and the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
The group met to identify and promote common terms for biomarker and germline genetic testing to ensure clear, consistent communication with patients and caregivers. Many of the same advocacy groups are now active in the Cancer Precision Medicine Commons.
